About the event

 H4LN will create a safe space to engage in conversations around BEING and BUILDING in our healing community.

We will ground our space in love, compassion and accountability as well as create space agreements to uphold H4LN values in intersectionality, all gender loving and liberatory community healing spaces.

Attendees will be invited to have  conversations on topics such as:

Trauma Informed Care vs Healing Based Communities What do we need to foster more healing based communities The Role of a Healer in Activism spaces Healing Justice vs Healing In Action Trauma: how do we show up? Trauma: how do we hold space for traumatized communities? Trauma: Reactive vs. Proactive How we are healing in our own lives Healing for all vs Healing for those lacking access

The Healers For Liberation Network is a collective of POC healers, therapists, clinicians, artists, yogis, elders and more providing services on a sliding scale cost for activists and community organizers within the Movement For Black Lives D.C. Coalition.

Our Mission is to center healing based communities and divests against systemic oppression, capitalist corporations and services created through white supremacy models of healthcare.
